If you are looking for a full featured 10" professional miter
box than this is it. The new up and back engine design allows the
unit to bevel 45 degrees both left and right. The powerful 15 amp
motor effortlessly cuts a standard 2" x 6" at 90 degrees
and a 2" x 4" at 45 degrees. The power from the motor
is transferred to the blade by a reinforced Poly-V belt providing
a smooth, quiet transition of power. In addition to the high powered
motor and the dual bevel, the 36-085 also features 7 positive miter
stops at 0, 22.5, 31.6 and 45 degrees both left and right. The 31.6
degree is idea for cutting crown molding on a bevel. The dual bevel
incorporates an adjustable "Flip-stop" at 0 degrees and
an up-front bevel scale which is viewable from the front of the
unit. Incorporate all this and add comfort features such as soft
grip handles on the clamp, miter and bevel locks, horizontal D-handle
for less fatigue and lightweight, aluminum construction for portability.
The one piece rear fence and stock stop ensure accurate cuts while
the standard wing extensions and rear support makes easy work even
with longer pieces of stock. Compile all of these features together,
add a dust bag, carbide tipped blade, a pre-drilled base for mounting
and an electric brake and you have one of the best miter box values
on the market.
